PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS

From photo to Custom Portrait, the process:

On agreeing on a portrait size, reference photographs, price and timescale, once we’ve had a discussion and you’re ready to book a commission, a deposit secures your booking. Once the deposit has been received your commission starts. I will keep you updated at stages of the drawing process so you can watch your pet come to life on paper.

Reference Photos

Photos you supply should ideally be clear and of high resolution. Taken at eye level - a good quality headshot is ideal - photos taken in natural light preferably outdoors are best to work from. I need to be able to see your pet’s eyes clearly in order to best capture their essence and character. The better the photograph, the better the drawing.

Completion

When your portrait is completed, I will send you a photo of the finished piece. Once you are happy, the remaining payment can be made. Your artwork will be presented mounted.

Delivery

If you’re local to South Norfolk, I can offer to deliver your portrait in person. If I’m unable to deliver, your portrait will be delivered to you via Royal Mail Tracked Delivery.

Book Your Portrait

I work to a duration of between 2 to 4 weeks for each portrait.

Once you have decided on the size of the portrait, contact me so we can discuss the next step.

Deposit and Payment

A £25 deposit books your portrait. Payment in the form of bank transfer, to be made 7 days prior to starting your portrait. This deposit becomes non-refundable once your portrait has been started. The remaining balance is to be paid within 14 days of completion, before your portrait is sent.

Single subject full face/head portrait prices quoted. Size and composition will be unique to your portrait requirements.
