Self taught, my artistic journey has been one of nurturing a creative pastime, a long-held hobby and occasional sideline; though excelling in Art at school, with no formal training I honed my skills through years of experience and decades of practice.

Fast forward to now. I’ve made my passion my career; fully turned to, and, picking up my pencils, from local acclaim for commissions to family, friends and beyond, portraits and commissions garnered onward general recognition. I typically dedicate anywhere between 20 and 35 hours to each portrait, bringing out as much realism to the portrait as possible.

I am a Norfolk based pet portrait and wildlife artist. My work in wildlife art extends to both domestic and worldwide wildlife.

Growing up and living in the countryside of Norfolk and Suffolk, the beauty and abundance of animal and bird life across East Anglia has been the inspiration for bringing animal and birdlife together in coloured pencil bought to life on paper.

My passion for drawing began from an early age; as a youngster picking up pencil to the study, drawings and sketches of birds using HB and 2B graphite pencil.
