Self taught, my artistic journey of nurturing a long-held hobby beyond a creative pastime has culminated in realising my life-time dream of developing my love of drawing in to a creative enterprise.  Fast forward to now, and the result of acclaim for commissions to family, friends and beyond, successfully garnering onward general recognition.   Encouraged by this and with the support and inspiration of accomplished talented online artists in refining and finessing my technique in pursuit of perfecting my art, I’ve seen my reach and reputation successfully broadening further afield to a wider audience.

Pursuing my love of coloured pencil artwork, I enjoy dedicating my time fully to producing artwork and commissions in the practice a life-long passion for animal and bird wildlife; putting in the hours, focusing days, often across weeks, in to the fine detail in the study of each piece.

I am a Norfolk based pet portrait and wildlife artist.  I bring my passion for drawing and love of animals and birdlife together to compose coloured pencil compositions. I offer commissions for pet portraits. In between commissions I create wildlife art which I sell through local craft fairs and markets.

I specialise in creating realistic artwork of animals, birds and wildlife; works I strive to exquisitely capture and convey in each the individual essence and character in a portrait brought to life on paper.

My passion for drawing began from an early age; as a youngster picking up pencil to the study, drawings and sketches of birds using HB and 2B graphite: kingfisher, puffin and sea birds. What became an occasional sideline to a working and family life followed, to be renewed and turned to fully only later in life.

Inspired by my love of growing up and living in the countryside of Norfolk and Suffolk, the beauty and abundance of animal and bird life of East Anglia has been the inspiration and source for my drawing.
