Delivery
If you’re local to South Norfolk, I can offer to deliver your portrait in person. If I’m unable to deliver, your portrait will be carefully packaged and delivered to you via Royal Mail Tracked Delivery.
When your pet portrait is completed, I will send you a photo of the finished piece. Once you are happy, the remaining payment can be made. Your artwork will be presented mounted.
A £25 deposit will book your portrait. Payment may be made in the form of bank transfer, made 7 days prior to starting your portrait. This deposit becomes non-refundable once your portrait has been started. The remaining balance is to be paid with 14 days of completion, before the portrait is sent.
Photos you supply should ideally be clear and of high resolution. Taken at eye level - a good quality headshot is ideal - photos taken in natural light preferably outdoors are best to work from. I need to be able to see your pet’s eyes clearly in order to best capture their essence and character. The better the photograph, the better the drawing.
I use the highest quality coloured pencils, Caran d’Ache Luminance and Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils, on hot-pressed Fabriano Artistico 300gsm paper, which enables me to achieve high level of details in each portrait.
On agreeing on a portrait size, reference photographs, price and timescale, once we’ve had a discussion and you’re ready to book a commission, a deposit secures your booking. Once the deposit has been received your commission starts.
I will keep you updated at certain stages of the drawing process so you can watch your pet come to life on paper.
8 x 6 £165
10 x 8 £210
12 x 10 £285
16 x 11 £325
Through application and patience, the precision and time I put in to each hand drawn piece results in photo realism from a classic drawing style. The process of building up layers to recreate fur textures through delicately placed pencil strokes ensures each bespoke portrait captures its subject's heart and essence.
